Orientations

All NYUSPS High School Academy programs have mandatory orientations. These orientations are for residential and commuter students and each have two parts: University Orientation and Academic Orientation.

If you are living on campus, we recommend you arrive and move-in at least 2 hours before the start of orientation to give yourself enough time to settle into your room before the event.

Parents should know that once orientation begins, the program begins.  Students will be occupied with events on Sunday evenings, so be sure to say goodbye before orientation!

International students: Any student studying under a visa is required to report their arrival on campus to the Office of Global Services.  On the first day of class (Monday), students can check-in with Global Services at 8:30 a.m. at 35 W. 4th Street, 11th Floor.
